Ramon Solé was born in Barcelona in 1971 and lives and works in Caldes de Montbui. He’s a classical-trained composer, guitar player and producer with a big stylistic versatility, cultivated along almost 30 years of career. He’s composed from folk to experimental music, plus all the main pop and rock styles, and he’s mostly written songs: in 2018 he counted more than 200 as composer and lyricist. Apart from that, he’s created a lot of instrumentals for stage shows, advertising, radio, exhibitions, popular culture, etc, and in the last few years he’s introduced himself in the avant-garde sounds, thus widening his creative range and incorporating new elements to create unique, distinctive music.
He’s written songs for the Spanish DJ and singer Miqui Puig and worked with musicians of such different styles as Jordi Armengol, Mau Boada, Keco Pujol, Ramon Prats, Txema Riera or the visual artists Helena Pielias and Vicenç Viaplana, among others. Besides, along these almost three decades, he’s played in a number of bands (Korrefok, Hèrzia and Lola, among others, apart from his solo career), always as a musical director and composer.
